Who is Blanche Abel ?

Her interest for fashion turned into a passion when she was in her second year of the graduate program in the department of History, and she decided to receive training in this area. First she completed her education in Haute-Couture which was a must to continue with the diploma of making hats. After her Haute-Couture education, she was qualified to receive the diploma of Haute Mode which is the highest level of education for millinery.
During the studies in Haute Couture she worked with Max Chaoul. In 2004 she designed and produced costumes for a dance theatre in Lyon Dance Biennale. She completed her training in Maison Michel, House of Chanel, where they also produce hats for leading international brands. For a time she worked in Lyon with private customers.
She moved to Istanbul in August 2005. She is now working with private clients, Turkish fashion designers like Sad?k K?z?la?aç, Hakan Elyaban, Cemil ?pekçi, Vural Gökçayl?, Dilek Hanif and she is also designing / producing hat collections for some shops in Ni?anta??.
Blanche Abel aims to increase the given importance of handmade products and carry it to the point that it deserves. She is planning to create a collection which is going to reflect the synthesis of eastern and western culture and she wants to transfer her know how to those who are interested.
